How does it work :
It is a 21 day online fitness program where they send you exercise for each day in advance along with diet.
- They have a diet plan for each weight range e.g. for 65-75kg diet plan is different from that of 75 above. Diet is a general diet plan in which they give you 12-15 options for each meal. Hence it is easy to follow.
- For exercise they send you a detailed video of exercise along with pictures and names of exercise.
- If you have any question or doubt, you can ask them by commenting on fb group which is exclusively made for participants only. You will also get healthy recipes and motivational posts on this group. Online live Q&A sessions are also conducted on need basis (we had 2 such sessions in entire program)
Did it work for me :
Don't think of this program as a simple weight loss program. It is a fitness program. Body weight is one parameter about your health. There are other parameters too e.g. waist size, fat in body, body stamina etc.
- I lost around 1.5-2 kg in 21 days though I couldn't follow diet completely. I just made sure to cut all kind of sugar from my diet and eat healthy. I lost from waist and there is a visible difference in my tummy size( sadly I have a huge mummy tummy ).
- There is definitely an improvement in my stamina and strength. I was not able to do wall sit for even 5 second on first day of program but at the end of this program, I could easily do it for ~30 second. On first day, I was super tired after exercise but in last week, I didn't find it so tough.
- I never suffered any injury while doing exercise (that I was most worried about). Whenever I found any exercise tough either I skipped it or modified it as per my convenience.
- Best thing about this program is that they don't give you false hopes. They always suggest you to go slow, listen to your body and focus on your overall well being.
What can be improved:
As I said I found this program very helpful but there is always a room for improvement.
- Picture and sound quality of some of the initial videos was not good.
- I found some videos less explanatory than others which definitely needs to be improved for next batches.
Is it safe for breastfeeding moms :
Absolutely. It is absolutely safe. I am a breastfeeding mom and feeds on demand to my son. I never introduced formula to my son and with this program, I never had any issue with my milk supply.
Equipment required :
- dumbbells (optional) - you should decide on weights as per your strength. If you are a new mom, you can begin your journey with body weight and slowly introduce weights.
For first week I just used my body weight and then gradually moved to 0.5 kg weight(water bottles) and then 1.5 kg dumbbells.
